Sectus 2007 is the largest Harry Potter conference for adults ever held in Europe. Starting on Thursday July 19th, there will be four days of presentations, panels, discussions and themed activities.

We start on Thursday with keynote speaker Steve Vander Ark of the Harry Potter Lexicon, followed by a panel discussing theories for Deathly Hallows. There will then be time for you to socialize with other fans and ease yourself into a hectic weekend.

On Friday, we will have a full day of presentations and panels on subjects ranging from science to politics to fan fiction, as well as your last chance to discuss Book 7 theories before the moment of truth. At midnight, pre-ordered books will be handed out at the venue, and you will be able to stay and read through the night. Then, for those who have the stamina, programming will continue from Saturday morning and into Sunday. On Sunday afternoon, we relocate to Regent's Park for a relaxing picnic and a game resembling Quidditch: the perfect way to round off the ultimate Harry Potter weekend.

Registration for the four-day event is available at www.sectus.org until 30th June and costs £65. Day tickets will also be available on the door, and a ticket just for the book release (covering 10pm Friday - 5pm Saturday) costs £25.
