July 21st is the release date for the last book in the Harry Potter series- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. On July 20th from 8pm-midnight, there will be Perfectus 2007. Taking place in Houston, Texas at the Houston Children’s Museum, Perfectus 2007 will feature Wizarding Rock Bands, costume contests, wizard cooking demonstrations, raffles, shopping, food and MUCH more! All of these festivities will lead up to the book release at midnight. We will have a rendevous at Phoenix Rising on Friday at 11am at Cafe Du Monde for those interested in participating or attending. A new development: We now have a yahoo group dedicated to volunteering for this event at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PerfectusVolunteers.
Attendees will need to pre-order the book through the Book Nook in Sugar Land, Texas. They take orders by email and by phone. They will need to specify they are with Perfectus 2007 because the books will be delivered to the museum for disbursement at midnight. The Book Nook will mail a receipt for proof of purchase. Just like if they were pre-ordering from Barnes and Noble or Borders. The information for pre-ordering will be made available through our website.
