This web site is for teachers and has lesson plans with simple Halloween activities for kids. I have adapted several of them to fit a Harry Potter theme. For example, I've used the pop-up pumpkin card idea and had kids make spells to enlarge their pumpkins using their Latin root words.
Most of these activities are educational and fun.
