Make your own Monster Book of Monsters.

Materials:

construction paper or paper bag for book cover
crayons
googlie eyes (optional)
felt (optional)
fake fur (optional)
feathers (optional)
dry macaroni (optional)

Instructions:

A fun party activity might be to have kids design their own Monster Book of Monsters Bookcover. Use a large piece of construction paper, or a paper bag (to make book covers) and draw with crayons (ie, a drawn on belt to close the book, teeth, drool, tongue, scary eyes, etc). Googlie eyes, felt for fur, dry macaroni for scales can all be included.
